The culinary bed features a collection of scented geraniums used in baking, a circle of lemon flavored herbs, common seasoning herbs for your pantry, and the revival of wattle fencing. Not just for display, this working culinary garden is harvested regularly to make the Herb Society's specialty products for our Herb Fair on Oct. 2nd. The bed was completely renovated in the spring of 2003 using symmetry, mass planting, bricks, and wattle to reflect the colonial roots of the herb garden.
